We think the government of Argentina put the ladies up to this behavior as a means of harassing the Catholic Church. But we appreciate your viewpoint. God bless you. Probably.

Did they go about drawing attention to their cause the wrong way? Absolutely.

Do they deserve to be heard despite their foul behavior? I think so. His home parish was built by the parishioners in the 1930s Depression with beautiful marble and lovely carved statues. They did it all with their own labor. Then the 1980s and the clown Masses -- jive Our Fathers, theatrical Jesus with heavy make up rises behind altar, tabernacle covered by rainbow, puppet sermon mostly about the Easter basket with one line on the Resurrection, and then the clowns come from behind the altar at the end of Mass and the kids all go home with balloons saying "I brake for bunnies." Yes it was Easter. Then he marries me and moves West. He had to watch the same horrid process start over again from the beginning. Tabernacle to the side or out of the church entirely, female altar teenagers with black eyes and HUGE tennis shoes, unconsecrated hosts mixed with consecrated hosts and served to the congregation because the altar girls forgot to bring up the unconsecrated hosts before the consecration, feminist apostle creeds, choir replaces tabernacle in the front with overweight short shirted middle aged women shaking everything they got. Oh please I never should have got started. The point is that what happened on the East Coast in the Catholic Church in the 1960s and 1970s moved to the West Coast in the 1980s and 1990s. The Catholic faithful have been persecuted and scandalized for 50 years. Now we must bear the consequences in our children. God bless you. And to think that not a few years ago, these same women had been baptized into the Church, their mothers etc. were all Catholics.

But then, were they? Were they really? I am now thinking of what happened to the Church in Quebec. How could a -so it looked externally - Catholic culture within 10 years throw everything out; the bishops floundering, the clergy in chaos, the lay faithful in revolt? Yet this is what happened by about 1970 or so... For nearly 400 years Quebec had been Catholic, even intense protestant pressure could not budge her; but then, from her own people, the poison came that would spread like a cancer and virtually destroy her.

It may well be that a number of leading clergy had carried the Modernist bacteria back from Europe - but that does not explain away the mass apostasy of the lay faithful.... the faith was obviously only a "social" Catholicism. Turn up at church, dress up - but already the rot had set in. Like termites the local Church was rife for collapse. The same must be said in South America... though I am not too well read on that part of the world. What does seem to parallel Quebec is the Catholic culture in Boston. Deep, historical, powerful - yet, within a few years virtual total collapse. Again, rotting from within. Baronahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06265555388172261643noreply@blogger.com
